ECREA together with Local organising committee of the ECC 2024 in Ljubljana calls for following grants applications:
- Regional inclusion
- Inclusion of Ukraine-based scholars
- YECREA Early-career fee waivers and travel grants
- ECREA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grants

Regional Inclusion
5 grants are offered to early-career scholars (PhD students and scholars 1 year after completion of their PhD) from the region of former Yugoslavia. The grants, provided by Local Organising Committee, consist of conference fee waivers.

Inclusion of Ukraine-based scholars
5 grants are offered to early-career scholars (PhD students and scholars 1 year after completion of their PhD) who are based at Ukrainian academic institutions. The grants, provided by the Local Organising Committee, will consist of conference fee waivers.

YECREA Early-career fee waivers and travel grants
The ECREA Young Scholars Network (YECREA) and ECREA invite applications for 10 grants and 5 travel for young scholars who are ECREA PhD members and are accepted to present at ECC2024.
Deadline for application: 15 April 2024 (no later than April 15, 2024 at 23:59 CEST.)
The applicants are allowed to combine travel grants with the grants in the form of conference fee vouchers.

ECREA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grants
ECREA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grants are in addition to the already existing Young Scholar support initiatives, so if you are an Early Career scholar (PhD Student or up to 1 year after completing your PhD), we suggest you apply to YECREA grants (see above).
For everyone else:
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) grants – 15 grants in the form of conference fee vouchers.
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) travel grants – 5 travel and 5 accommodation grants.
Applicants are allowed to combine travel grants, accommodation grants and the grants in the form of conference fee vouchers.
